4 Αγγλικά βιβλία που θεωρώ σημαντικά, or 4 Engish books that I find important.

Hello, it’s me, Elina again. Now, since you are reading this article you will have understood that the language is not Greek. Since you got that far, it means that you really don’t mind, and that you are probably interested in my thoughts even when these are presented in English.

Great so far! Now,  below are some of the books that I read this year which I consider the really Not-To-Miss ones, since they can really assist you in that Beautiful Living you are striving for all those years.

So, apart from a great coach (hopefully this will be me 😉 )  let’s have a look on who your Thinking Partners can be in the New Year to come. Shall we?

Book #1

My invaluable mentor, teacher and neuroscientist gave as a lot the previous years, one of which is Super Brain*. You can read an exempt here to get an idea. I got it in audiobook first and then got  the paper back too, as I decided I wanted it to be one of my reference books not only in my sessions and  seminars with my clients, but in my everyday life as well! Here is the part:

“Stop repeating what never worked in the first place.
Stand back and ask for a new solution.

Stop struggling at the level of the problem. The answer never lies there.

Work on your own stuckness.

Don’t worry about the other person.

When the old stresses are triggered walk away.

See righteous for what it really is- destructive anger dresses up to sound positive.

Rebuild the bonds that have become frayed.

Take on more burden than you think you deserve.

Stop attaching so much weight to being right.

In the grand scheme of things right is insignificant compared to being happy.”

Excellent, right!? At least I think so!

Book #2

The same author has provided us in the past with another book which will help you increase your level of energy and the quality of your thoughts and eventually your life. “The Spontaneous Fulflilment of Desire”** is a rather small book, with both theory and some meditations. (By now I assume you treat your brain and the chemistry in your body with this powerful tool, right?) Here is a part of the book:

“Those whom we love and those whom we are repelled by are both mirrors of ourselves.

Whom are we attracted to? People who have the same traits as we have, but more so. We want to be in their company because subconsciously we feel that by doing so we, too, might manifest more of those traits as well.

Nurturing relationships is the most important activity in my life. Everything I see is an expression of myself. Relationship is a tool for spiritual evolution, with the ultimate goal of reaching unity consciousness.”

Book #3

Something more novelish and quite classic with less neurosciense, but still a nice read is The Happiness Project.*** Here is a part:

“To feel more energetic I applied one of my twelve commandments. “Act the way I want to feel.” This commandment sums up one of the most helpful insights that I learned in my happiness research: although we presume that we act because of the way we feel, in fact we often feel the because of the way we act.  It is by studying little things that we attain the great art of having as little misery and as much happiness as possible.”

Book #4

Last but not least, Think and Grow Rich**** is a classic, still I find quite a lot of people that haven’t still read it. Neuroeconomics has improved  ALLLLOOOTTT since then, and more scientific methods have emerged to provide financial health and prosperity to everybody, but still this book is really qood in its inspiration if you think that your finances are a matter of luck and do not depend on you. If you decide to find out more about how you can change your subconscious financial identity give me a call and we can plan a course of action together. Till then,  you can read a part of the book is here:

“The practical dreamers have always been, and always will be, the pattern makers of civilization. We who desire to accumulate riches should remember that the real leaders of the world have always been people who hae harnessed, and put into practical use, the intatngible, unseen forces of unborn opportunity.”  p25

So, here they are. Why I share my “secret Thought – Weapons?” Because I believe that once one progresses all his or her environment progresses as well. And I firmly support the saying that says, “Be the Change that you want to see in the world”.

My wishes for Merry Christmas and a really fulfilling New Year, full of enlightenment, prosperity and abundance.

Your LiFe Coach,

Elina Giachali
